Pamela Rogers

Pamela Rogers, a Rochester, NY native, has had a lifelong connection with golf. She commenced her golf journey as a young child, standing out as the first girl ever to grace a men’s golf team in Rochester. Guided by esteemed mentors Denny Fersteler and Craig Harmon, her affinity for the sport blossomed.

Through her formative years, Pamela remained deeply involved in competitive golf, a passion that eventually led her to make a pivotal decision at the age of 17 – to turn her love for golf into a career. Pursuing her aspirations, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Methodist College with a specialization in Professional Golf Management. Her collegiate journey included two years on the women’s golf team before transitioning to the professional realm.

With determination and commitment, Pamela achieved a remarkable feat by securing both her LPGA and PGA cards. At the time of this achievement, she was among a select group of only 100 women nationwide to hold both LPGA and PGA cards. Pamela’s stature as a proficient and respected Golf Professional has paved the way for her extensive teaching career, spanning all skill levels since 1990.

Having been associated with the PGA Middle Atlantic Section before joining the PGA Carolina Section in 2003, Pamela’s journey has been marked by roles as an assistant golf professional at Bethesda CC and Belle Haven CC. However, her true calling emerged as she embarked on a mission to impart her golf wisdom and nurture the game’s growth. This path led her to helm various golf academies and assume the role of Director of Instruction in Fairfax, VA, for a substantial period.

Pamela’s expertise spans the spectrum of golf instruction, catering to individuals of varying skill levels and diverse environments. Her repertoire includes club fitting, on-course guidance, video analysis, and a deep understanding of golf rules.
